You might have noticed our adventures in New York City this past weekend over Instagram.
Become a star at MADAME TUSSAUDS with over 85,000 square feet of interactive entertainment in the heart of Times Square. There are millions of things to see and do in New York City, but there is only one place where you can get up close with over 200 incredible wax figures of celebrities, historical icons, sports legends and more. From Marilyn Monroe to Barack Obama to Lady Gaga to Carmelo Anthony, there is a star for everyone!
We visited Madame Tussauds in the evening. It wast in the middle of a rainstorm and was the peferct place to find shelter. Sometimes when you are in the heart of Times Square, you are limited on the places you can go and not remain in the weather's elements. The museum has different floors and themes - World Leaders, Pop Culture, The Spirit of New York, Sports, Music and More - we enjoyed Ben Franklin, the Pope, Abraham Lincoln, Lucille Ball, Hulk, and my girls favorite - Taylor Swift! She was at the end, so the perfect building up to a wonderful visit.
I have shy girls (can you tell?) so it was really fun to see them come out of their shells and perform for the camera. We even won a handful of trophies in the gift shop, clearly we were feeling like celebrities. I had fun mixing up something good with cousin, Lucille Ball in the kitchen! FUN FACT: Did you know that Desi Arnaz was my grandmother's first cousin?
During our visit, we also checked out Super Heros. Madame Tussauds has a thrilling Marvel Super Heroes 4D theater featuring Marvel's legendary Super Heroes. You wear 3-D glasses but also experience the thrills of water, touch, bubbles, etc - I won't ruin the ending.
Madame Tussauds has locations in London, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, New York, Shanghai, and Washington D.C.
